RentGrid connects electricity and water submeters to a cloud platform that turns ordinary property utilities into a smart prepaid system. Tenants load credit into digital wallets, and consumption is billed server-side from validated meter readings — never estimated by hand and never manipulated in the browser. RS485, Modbus, pulse, and LoRaWAN meters are supported through a vendor-neutral hardware abstraction layer, so properties can mix and match meter brands without re-platforming.

The platform is designed for apartments, dormitories, boarding houses, bedspaces, and commercial rentals — any property where landlords collect rent and utilities from tenants. Property owners, managers, and technicians use RentGrid to automate rent billing, monitor real-time consumption, detect leaks and electricity anomalies, and enforce cutoff policies safely with hardware acknowledgement and grace periods. Tenants get a dedicated app to load credit, view usage, pay rent, browse available units, message their landlord, and chat with an AI assistant trained on the property's own rules.
